As we mark the yahrzeits of Lucy, Maia and Rina this week, our hearts are with the whole Dee family and we wish them a chayim aruchim. May we continue to learn l’ilui nishmatan and continue their legacies. We are honored that Rabbi Alex Israel has written the idea for this week on Mishna 4:2. This week’s idea on Mishna 3.17 has been written by Rabbi Golker. Rabbi Golker learned in Yeshivat Kerem B’Yavneh and Mir and then studied and practiced law at a City law firm. He left law to pursue a career in teaching and has been the Menahel of Hasmonean High School for close to ten years. This week’s idea on Mishna 3.16 has been written by Rabbi Moshe Levy. Rabbi Levy is a descendent from a long line of Sephardic rabbis (his great grandfather was the last Chief Rabbi of Yemen). Rabbi Moshe Levy grew up in Brooklyn, New York where he received a degree in Finance from Touro College and went on to receive Rabbinic ordination in Eretz Yisrael while studying in the Kollel of Rabbi Yitschak Berkowitz Shlita. Rabbi Levy is the CEO of Chazak U.K and a popular speaker in schools, shuls, and offices all over London. 🇮🇱 עם ישראל חי 🇮🇱

This weeks idea on Mishna 3.15 has been written by Rabbanit Sally Mayer. Rabbanit Sally serves as Rosh Midrasha at Ohr Torah Stone’s Midreshet Lindenbaum, teaches Talmud & Halacha, and meets personally with students. Before making Aliyah with her family, she was a member of the founding faculty of Maayanot Yeshiva High School in New Jersey, and served as Educational Director at The Jewish Center in Manhattan. She served as an editor of the Koren translation of the Talmud and lectures in communities around the world. Rabbanit Mayer lives in Neve Daniel with her husband and children. 🇮🇱 עם ישראל חי 🇮🇱

TDPAP Pirkei Avot (3.14)

This week's idea on Mishna 3.14 is written by Miriam Kitrossky. Miriam was an underground teacher of Judaism in the Soviet Union, a refusnik (a Jew refused permission to emigrate to Israel), and an activist fighting for the right of Soviet Jews to make aliyah to Israel. Now she is teaching Judaism for speakers of Russian and coordinates conversion classes in the educational centre "Machanaim" (Israel). 🇮🇱 עם ישראל חי 🇮🇱

This week's idea on Mishna 3.13 has been written by Sammy Ezekiel. Sammy is in his third year of Yeshivas Imrei Binah in Har Nof. Rabbi Dee is an old friend of his parents and they recently reconnected, after Rabbi Dee came to speak in Sammy’s yeshiva to provide them with chizuk after October 7th.
